Due to COVID 19 health requirements all of our formal (larger group) worship services are limited attendance only.
Nursery services are cancelled.
Sunday School classes are meeting at their discretion.
Smaller groups may continue to meet, at their own discretion. North Carolina has removed limits on the number of persons allowed to attend religious services. Strict control of public distancing and the wearing of masks is required during these services. Please use common sense to keep everyone attending and our community safe.
Bible studies and confirmation classes will continue at the scheduled times.
Individual groups are encouraged to advise the office and pastor so announcements can be made.
I love and treasure every single one of you! And it is my life’s joy to be with you every single Sunday! But (and read this next part carefully, and hear my heart!) – if you:
1) are in a high risk group --
2) are over 65,
3) have limitations/treatments that compromise your health (diabetes, high BP, etc.),
4) have traveled outside the US or to any of the states of Washington, California, Massachusetts,
New York or New Jersey in the last month (locales with highest numbers of known cases);
5) have had large contacts with people in Raleigh, Durham, Charlotte, or Camp Lejeune; or,
6) have persons living with you that you might expose (by taking sickness home with you!),
then you should strongly consider staying home for the next two Sundays.
For the immediate future:
Passing the Peace methods are changed (elbow bumps or “agape waves”);
Offering plates will not be passed-- plates will be present in which you may place your offering;
A recording of church services will be provided on this website as soon as possible.
The recordings of services will not contain prayer concerns.
Prayer concerns will be covered before recording of the service begins.
We will happily receive your tithe and offerings by mail!
Prayers for the protection of our loving God and for the sensibilities of His people.
