HUMC power kids

(K- 5th Grade)

Power Kids at Hampstead United Methodist Church is held on Sunday nights throughout the school year.  Power Kids is where each child learns about God in a most enjoyable way through, crafts, science projects, bible story, and journaling.  We believe that learning how to become more Christ-like should not be a chore; rather a character trait a child strives for. Check back here early September for more information and meeting times. If you have any questions, feel free to contact our Director of Youth Ministries at HUMCYouth@hampsteadumc.org.

HUMC Youth

(6th-12th grades)

COME AS YOU ARE!

We are a community of preteens and teenagers who are in the process of becoming better disciples of Christ.  We face struggles with our families, teachers and friends.  We question the world we live in.  We have blessings and joys we want to share, and we have doubts.  Doubt is not the opposite of faith; it is part of the faith journey.  Join us on Sunday evenings during the school year as we tackle the issues that confront us each day.  Come and celebrate our accomplishments of the week.  Together, let us try to find and explore the path on to which God is leading us.  The Gospel of Luke tells us that if we seek, we will find; if we ask, we will receive.  Join us. Check back here in early September for more information and meeting times. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact our Director of Youth Ministries for more information at HUMCYouth@hampsteadumc.org.

OUR MISSION:

Open hearts, open minds, open doors

To speak evil of no one, to avoid quarreling, to be gentle, and to show every courtesy to everyone.

Titus 3:2-7

To walk with youth in their journey to know Christ by creating an environment in which youth can experience Christian communion, to hear the gospel, to know God's love, and to respond in faith by loving and serving others...for in all of this we are making disciples of Jesus Christ.
